GIBBON

Patsy VanTries, 64, of Gibbon died Monday, January 7, 2013 at her home in Gibbon. Funeral service will be 1pm Monday, January 14 at the Clear Lake Baptist Church in Gibbon with Reverend Ramon Flores officiating. Burial will follow in the Clear Lake Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be 10am-1pm at the church on Monday. Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in Gibbon is handling the arrangements.

Patsy is survived by her husband, Clifford VanTries of Gibbon; daughters, Shelly (Kevin) Woods of Winthrop, Kimberly K. Durbin of East Gull Lake, Melissa Habeck of Dundee; sixteen grandchildren; two great grandchildren; sister, Ramona (Harvey) Entsminger of Andover; and brother, Gary (Della) Lund of Spring Valley. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Lawrence and Steven Lund; and granddaughter, Hope Ann Marie VanTries.

Patsy Lee Lund was born August 20, 1948 in Spring Valley to Lawrence and Ella (Long) Lund. On August 29, 1964 she was united in marriage to Clifford Neil VanTries in Spring Valley. She was a loving wife, mother, grandma, and great grandma.
