Donald Komro, 91, of New Ulm died Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at the Oak Hills Living Center in New Ulm.

A private family service will be held Saturday, January 12, at the Lakewood Cemetery Chapel in Minneapolis with entombment following the service.

The Minnesota Valley Funeral Home NORTH CHAPEL in New Ulm is handling the arrangements.

Donald is survived by his daughters, Donna and Tom Haala of Madison Lake, Linda Schaefer and Darwin Stresemann of New Ulm; grandchildren, Melissa, Debra, Katie, John and Julie; and 13 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; 1st wife, Jeanette; 2nd wife Violet; and by his brother, Lawrence Komro.

Donald Lloyd Komro was born July 17, 1921 in St. Paul to August and Margaret (English) Komro.
