NEW ULM

Ramona Groebner, 75, of New Ulm died Friday, January 18, 2013 at the Sleepy Eye Care Center in Sleepy Eye. Memorial service will be 11 am Wednesday, January 23 at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home NORTH CHAPEL in New Ulm with Monsignor Douglas Grams officiating. Burial will follow in the New Ulm City Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-7 pm Tuesday and 7:30-11 am Wednesday at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in New Ulm.

Ramona is survived by her daughter, Donna Groeber (fiancé, Vernon Sowers) of Even; sons, Jeffery (Beka) Groebner of New Ulm, Rodney Groebner of St. James; grandchildren, Ashley, Scott, Samantha, Tommy; siblings, June Okland of California, Joan Anderson of Jackson, Missouri, Patty Penny of Algona, Iowa, Allen Perkins of Quartside, Arizona, Robert (Marilyn) Perkins of Britt, Iowa, Karen (Rick) Rehr of Fountain, Michigan, Kathy Dorr of Fountain, Michigan; and by many niece and nephews.

Ramona Jean Perkins was born January 25, 1937 in Forest City, Iowa to Ray and Mary (Pigman) Perkins. On October 11, 1961 she was united in marriage to Donald Groebner in Madelia. Ramona enjoyed fishing, camping, bingo, embroidery, card games, going to Jackpot Junction, and spending time with her friends and family.
