Alyce Anstett, age 88, of New Ulm passed away Sunday, November 19, 2023 at St. John Lutheran Home in Springfield.
Memorial service will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home – South Chapel in New Ulm. Burial will follow in the New Ulm City Cemetery, Soldier's Rest section.
Visitation will be from 12-1 p.m. Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home – South Chapel.

Alyce is survived by her daughter, Lois (Gary) Martin of Sleepy Eye; sons, John "Pete" (Jayne) Anstett of Chaska, Thomas (Suzy) Anstett of Parker, CO; eight grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Mary Jane Windschitl; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John Anstett; sisters, Marlys (Merlin) Fixsen, Arlene Kral; and brother, Cyril Windschitl.
Alyce Mary Windschitl was born December 18, 1934 to Joseph and Sophia (Ubel) Windschitl in Springfield. On July 19, 1955, Alyce was united in marriage to John Anstett in Olivia. Their union was blessed with three children. The family resided in Tracy where Alyce worked as a church secretary in addition to being a mother. In 1993, Alyce and John moved to New Ulm to enjoy their retirement years. Alyce's greatest joy in life was being a mother and grandmother. She will be fondly remembered as a caring, happy, and fun-loving woman. Alyce will be dearly missed. Blessed be her memory.
