Amber Lechuga, 22, of Springfield died September 25, 2014.
Funeral services will be 1 PM Saturday, February 28, 2015 at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home NORTH CHAPEL in New Ulm with Father Phil Schotzko officiating.
Visitation will be 11 AM to 1 PM Saturday, February 28 at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home NORTH CHAPEL in New Ulm.
Amber is survived by her parents, Adolfo Sr. (Sharon Theis) Lechuga of Springfield; her sons, Miguel Jr. and Orion Anthony; sisters, Alyssa Lechuga of Springfield, Morgan Lechuga of Heron Lake, Anya Lechuga & Juliana Lechuga both of Springfield and step-sister Kayla Sendejo of Wilmar; brothers, Adolfo Jr. of Springfield, Devon Lechuga of Heron Lake; and by her close friend Andrea Ramirez and her family.
She was preceded in death by her Aunt Nitsa Lechuga-Hillesheim, Uncle Micheal Hillesheim, and paternal grandparents and great grandparents.
Amber Elena Lechuga was born October 2, 1991 in Joliet, Illinois. She attended Sleepy Eye High School and Springfield High School where she was involved in the school choir. Amber was easygoing with a light heart and a free spirit and was known for her sense of humor. She enjoyed music, dancing, cooking and spending time with family and friends. She especially loved her sons Miguel Jr. and Orion.
