Anna is survived by her husband of 65 years, Rudolf; their daughters, Michaela (Ron) Lynaugh, Sylvia Kienlen (fiancé Don Binger); three grandchildren, Rachel (Jake) Oscarson, Josh Kienlen (fiancé Niki Knutson), Emily Kienlen (fiancé Eli Foley); five great-grandchildren, Caleb and Cason Oscarson, Jayden and Austin Knutson, Nalah Kienlen; and other extended family.
Anna was born August 31, 1931 to Raimund and Helena in Czechoslovakia. Anna and Rudy met in Aschaffenburg in 1951 and were married on October 4, 1957. In 1961, Anna and Rudy moved to Canada and in 1968, made their final move to New Ulm. Anna considered herself blessed to be able to be a stay-at-home wife and mother for all her years of marriage. She enjoyed being a homemaker. She took pride in keeping a clean house, being a wonderful cook, and was one of the hardest working ladies you would ever meet. Over her lifetime she enjoyed gardening and yardwork, bike riding, knitting and crocheting (making and gifting hundreds of doilies over the years), cooking, and visiting with friends and family. She was a very genuine, outgoing, and joyful person and was always willing to help out a person in need. What she loved most was spending time with family and friends and caring for her grandchildren when they were young. She has left us with countless beautiful memories and she will be dearly missed by those that knew her. Blessed be her memory.
