Audrey Broste, age 84, of New Ulm passed away Tuesday, November 12, 2024 at her home with her family by her side.

A celebration of life will be 11:00 am Monday, November 18, 2024 at Our Savior's Lutheran Church with Pastor Kathy Ulland-Klinkner officiating. Burial will take place at a later date. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at church on Monday.

Audrey is survived by her husband, Paul Broste; daughters, Gwynne (Paul) Gutzke, Bonnie Merz; son, Perry (Ann) Broste; 3 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; brothers, Leon (Bobby) Dettman and Garry Dettman.

She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Rodney Dettman.

Audrey Ann Dettman was born March 22, 1940 to Arvid and Eleanor (Diller) Dettman in Menomonie, WI. She graduated from high school in Boyceville, WI. After high school Audrey worked for Sears from 1960 to 1966. She was united in marriage to Paul Broste on June 4, 1966 in Boyceville. After marriage Audrey stayed home to raise the couple's children. Once the kids were older she worked part-time at Herberger's and Dannheim Dairy. She will be greatly missed by those who knew her. Blessed be her memory.
