Barry Lewis Duty, age 48, of Redwood Falls, died peacefully on Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at New Ulm Hospital.

Barry is survived by his children, Brooke, Barry, Autumn, Sky, and Bryson; grandchildren, Ashton, Octavia, and Arabella; his mother, Lana, and stepfather, Wesley; and brothers, Donald II and Brian; step brother, Nicholas Kruse.

He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Duty.

Barry was born on May 25, 1976, in South Williamson, Kentucky, to Donald and Lana (Sipple) Duty. He dropped out of school during the 10th grade but later earned his GED, reflecting his determination and drive. For 20 years, Barry worked as a coal miner, where he dedicated himself to his work and always helped others in need.

Barry had a deep passion for the outdoors. He loved motorcycle riding, fishing, and coon hunting. He also had a special fondness for horses and his coon dogs. Above all, Barry cherished his family, especially his children and grandchildren, and was always there to offer love and support.
