NEW ULM

Beverly Langhoff, 66, of New Ulm died Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at the Abbott – Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis. Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 4, 2015 at the First Lutheran Church in Lafayette with Pastor Scott Jakel officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be 4 – 7 p.m. Sunday and from 7:30 – 8:00 a.m. Monday at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home, SOUTH CHAPEL, in New Ulm and will continue for one hour prior to the time of service at the church on Monday.

Beverly is survived by her mother, Margaret Iverson of New Ulm; husband, Steven Langhoff of Lafayette; daughter, Lisa Puhlmann and her fiancé, Jon Kuck both of New Ulm; son and daughter-in-law, Chad and Lora Gutknecht of New Ulm; son and son-in-law, Erik Langhoff and Jaime Darce both of Arlington, Massachusetts; grandchildren, Zachrie (Jessie) Gutknecht, Nicholas Gutknecht, Nathan Puhlmann; sisters and brothers-in-law, Susie and Marlin Wendorff, Diane and Douglas Durheim all of Lafayette. She was preceded in death by her father.

Beverly Jean Iverson was born on February 14, 1949 in Sleepy Eye to Marvin and Margaret (Evers) Iverson. On September 11, 1976 she was united in marriage to Steven Langhoff at the First Lutheran Church in Lafayette. Beverly worked at Lafayette Lumber, Lafayette Good Samaritan Center, and for the last eleven years as a care attendant at Oak Hills Assisted Living in New Ulm. Beverly enjoyed dancing, cooking, gardening, growing flowers, solving crossword puzzles, traveling, and spending time with her children, grandchildren, and friends. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Beverly was a member of First Lutheran Church in Lafayette. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the donor's choice. www.mvfh.org.
