Bonnie is survived by her daughter, Sara (Emily) Arbo of San Antonio, Texas; her grandchildren, Jameson and Ellasyn; her sister, Belinda (Tom) Bode of New Ulm; her brothers, Bruce Fleming of Owatonna, Shane Glynn of Vernon Center; and other nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her niece, Bethani Fleming.

Bonita “Bonnie” Gail Fleming was born March 31, 1961, in Fort Monmouth, New Jersey, to her father, and Barbara (Hanson) Fleming. The family later moved to Minnesota, where Bonnie was a 1979 graduate of Wellcome-Memorial High School in Garden City where she later served as a board member for the Garden City-Wellcome Alumni Association.

Bonnie’s life was forever changed for the better when she welcomed her daughter, Sara, whom she lovingly raised in Richardson, Texas. Throughout her life, Bonnie worked in a variety of office, administrative, and customer service roles from Texas to Minnesota, eventually retiring as a Data Entry Specialist.

Beyond her work, Bonnie found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She enjoyed crafting over the years, and could always appreciate the chance to relax with a good book. Many laughs and memories were shared with family and friends while playing her favorite game, Farkle. Bonnie treasured the time she spent with her grandchildren who brought endless pride, happiness, and love into her life.

Bonnie will be remembered as someone who could make a friend wherever she went. Intelligent and thoughtful, Bonnie always had a way of making others feel comfortable and understood. She was a trusted confidant, a wonderful listener, and someone whose kindness and sense of humor left a lasting impression on those who knew her. Whether offering advice, sharing a laugh, or simply being present, Bonnie gave her family and friends a gift that will not be forgotten. Her memory will be carried forward by those who knew and loved her, and the moments shared with her will continue to bring comfort, smiles, and gratitude for a life well lived.
