Brian Holstein, age 53, passed away Monday, March 28, 2022 at The Terrace in Cannon Falls.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, April 29, 2022 at the New Ulm City Cemetery Columbarium in New Ulm. Fellowship will be held from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Friday, April 29, 2022 at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home – SOUTH CHAPEL in New Ulm.

Brian is survived by his step mother, Diane Holstein; brothers, Steven (Elizabeth) Holstein of New Ulm, Jeff (Tasha) Holstein of New Ulm, Brian (Nancy) Bushee of Philadelphia, Eric Bushee of Mound; brother-in-law, Peter Bailey; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews whom he dearly loved.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Rollie Holstein and Connie Holstein; and sister, Leah Bailey.

Brian David Holstein was born October 20, 1968 to Rollie and Connie (Raske) Holstein in Owatonna. The family relocated to New Ulm and Brian graduated from New Ulm High School and worked at various jobs throughout his life. He loved listening to loud rock music, getting together for holidays, and spending time with his family. Brian especially loved calling his family, sometimes calling three or four times a day just to check in and talk. He will be dearly missed by those that knew him. Blessed be his memory.
