Charlotte Ann Kamm, age 81 of rural North Mankato died peacefully on Tuesday, March 13, 2024, at the St. James Medical Center in St. James.

Mass of Christian burial will be 11 am on Friday, April 26, 2024, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Searles.

Visitation will be held from 10-11 am on Friday at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church prior to the Mass.

Burial will follow in the St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery, and a reception will be held at the Searles Bar and Grill following the burial service.

Charlotte is survived by her sons, and daughters-in-law, Jonathan (Kristi) Kamm of Fort Meyers, Florida, David Kamm of North Mankato, Terry (Amy) Kamm of St. Peter; her grandchildren, Nicholas, Jakob, Sameera, Reid, Madison, Riley; her great-grandson, Thiago; and many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Elden in 2009; her grandson, Joseph Kamm; her sisters, Gloria Nagel, Shirley Kamm; her brothers, William Plamann, James "Rocky" Plamann; and an infant brother, Tommy.

Charlotte Ann Plamann was born December 13, 1942, in Sleepy Eye to William and Bertha (Frankee) Plamann.  Growing up in rural Brown County, Charlotte was attended and was a 1960 graduate from Morgan High School.  On April 22, 1961, she was united in marriage to Elden G. Kamm at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Minneapolis.  This union was blessed with three sons whom together she raised with Elden.  Early in her life, Charlotte worked from home as a loving mother and homemaker.  She later went to work for the State of Minnesota at the DMV in North Mankato.  As an individual who loved the outdoors, Charlotte enjoyed spending time in her garden, was an avid bird watcher, and also loved biking and kayaking when she could.  Charlotte lived her live with a generous heart giving to many charities she felt close to.  She was quite active with Birth Right, and was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Mankato.  Blessed be her memory.
