Daniel S. Buboltz, age 56, of New Ulm, died Friday, May 12, 2017 at the Golden Living Center in St. Louis Park.
Funeral service will be 11:30 AM Friday, May 19, 2017 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Fairfax with Pastor Timothy Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 9:30 – 11:30 AM Friday at the church in Fairfax.

Dan is survived by a sister, Ardie (Niel) Lidberg of Hector; two brothers, Dave (Pat) Buboltz of Fairfax and Tim (Wendy) Buboltz of Tinley Park, IL; an aunt, Ruth Black of Fairfax; his godfather, Cliff Hinderman of Spirit Lake, IA; a niece, Dawna (Jon) Woodman; nephews, Leon Lidberg, Chad Buboltz, Craig (Alissa) Buboltz, and Trevor Buboltz; many great nieces, great nephews, great-great nieces, and other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a niece, Darla Schulte; great nephew, Luke Schulte; godmother, Lorraine Buboltz; and aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Daniel Scott Buboltz was born on September 18, 1960 in Sleepy Eye to Clarence & Phyllis (Nelson) Buboltz. He was baptized at St. John's Lutheran Church in Fairfax, and grew up in Fairfax attending St. John's school through confirmation and eighth grade. Dan graduated with the class of 1979 from Fairfax High School. He worked in Fairfax and then moved to the twin cities working there until his health deteriorated and he moved to New Ulm. Dan enjoyed watching sporting events on TV and the time he spent at Anytime Fitness in New Ulm.
