Daniel is survived by his daughters, Elizabeth Holm, Jaclyn Holm; son, Justin Holm; grand-daughter, Natalie Holm; father, Charles Holm; sisters, Geri (Robert) Leavens, Lavon Hinderman and his brothers, Tom (Betsy) Holm and Anthony Holm.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Lauretta Holm and Morris the cat.
Daniel was born March 13, 1964 to Charles and Lauretta (Sperl) Holm at Loretto Hospital in New Ulm.
While growing up on the family farm he would often take things apart just to see how they worked irritating his parents to no end. At first they thought he was being destructive until one day they realized he could fix radios, TV's, appliances, snowmobiles, etc. and they didn't have to pay a repairman.
He loved hanging out with his friends helping them install ear drum breaking bass speakers in their cars.
He earned his GED and graduated from South Central College in Mankato. He worked at various appliances and TV repair shops throughout his life until health issues forced him to quit in 2009. He married Christine Geiger in 1996 and they had their daughter Elizabeth and he adopted Christine's children, Justin and Jaclyn from her previous marriage; the couple later divorced in 2002. He was very good at what he did. At Accuserve in Mission, KS, he received an award for fixing a computer program that no one else there had been able to. He enjoyed taking photos and drawing when he was younger. He loved spending time at the cat sanctuary outside of New Ulm. He was a great cook and loved making strawberry milkshakes. He will be greatly missed. Blessed be his memory.
