Davis Biebl, age 84, of Gibbon, passed away Tuesday, January 24, 2023 at Countryview Estates in Fairfax.

Memorial service will be held at a later date at St. Willibrord's Catholic Church in Gibbon.

Davis is survived by his niece, Nancy (Brian) Ray of Minneapolis; great nephew, Kevin (Haley) Ray of River Falls, Wisconsin; dear friends, Gail and Steve Herschmann of Gibbon; and his extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Aloysius and Helen Biebl; and his sister and brother-in-law, Ruth and Kenneth Callier.

Davis Earl Biebl was born June 10, 1938 to Aloysius and Helen (Rathmann) Biebl in New Ulm. He graduated from Gibbon High School in 1956. Davis farmed his family's farm his whole life, continuing the tradition that started back in 1873. In addition to farming, Davis was a member of St. Willibrord's Catholic Church, Catholic United Financial, and Gibbon Sportsmen Club. He also served on the Severance Township Board and was the head usher at St. Wilibrord's. In his free time, Davis loved going fishing, ice fishing, deer hunting, and having morning coffee in town with his friends. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Blessed be his memory.
