Dean "Narve" William Pehrson, age 68 of Lafayette died peacefully on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at Mayo Clinic in Rochester.
A graveside service will be held at 1 pm on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at the Bernadotte Cemetery with Pastor Bob Miner officiating.
A Celebration of Life will follow the graveside service at Lafayette Community Center.
Dress in Dean fashion, laid back and casual.

Dean is survived by his loving wife, Jo Pehrson of Lafayette; his daughters, Heidi Hutton of New Ulm and Lindsay (Eric) Benson of Courtland; grandchildren, Tyson and Ryan; sister, Emma Woods of Mankato; brothers, Alan Pehrson of New Ulm and Neal (Debra) Pehrson of New Ulm; sister in-law and brother in-law, Traci and Darrell Abrahamson of Lafayette; nieces, nephew, many extended family, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his in-laws, Roger and Mable Cox; brother-in-law, Randy Woods.
Dean "Narve" William Pehrson was born January 6, 1957, in Gaylord to Harry and Helen (Larson) Pehrson. He graduated from New Ulm High School in 1975 and married the love of his life, Jo Cox, on August 4, 1979, at First Lutheran Church in Lafayette. This union blessed the couple with two daughters whom together they raised in Lafayette. Dean spent 47 years working at United Farmers Cooperative (UFC) until his retirement in August 2023. Besides his work, Dean enjoyed going to auctions, playing cards, and deer hunting. Dean was a proud member of the Lafayette Fire Department and Lafayette Ambulance. He loved every moment he got to spend watching his children and grandchildren grow up. He will be forever remembered by all who knew and loved him. Blessed be his memory.
