Diane Kay Iverson was born February 12, 1954 in New Ulm to Marvin and Margaret (Evers) Iverson. She was a graduate of Winthrop High School. On July 1, 1972, she was united in marriage to Douglas in Lafayette. Together, they raised their three children in Lafayette, creating a loving home centered around family. Diane worked at Iverson’s Café, the family café, and later at The Pocket Saver, her local second-hand store. She was also a dedicated homemaker who took great pride in caring for her family and home. Diane found joy in the simple things in life. She enjoyed putting together puzzles, admiring flowers, bird watching, and watching television. Most of all, she cherished the time she spent with her family, especially her grandchildren, who brought her great happiness and pride. Diane was a longtime member of First Lutheran Church in Lafayette, where her faith and church family were an important part of her life. She will be remembered for her devotion to her family, her gentle spirit, and the many ways she cared for those around her. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her.
Diane’s family would like to extend their gratitude to Allina Hospice and Oak Hills Living Center for the wonderful care they provided.
