Dorothy Ann Setser, age 86 of Mira Loma, CA, formerly from New Ulm, died peacefully on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at Riverwalk Post Acute in Riverside, CA.

Funeral Service will be 11 am on Saturday, June 21, 2025, at Minnesota Valley Funeral Home-North Chapel in New Ulm. Burial will follow in the New Ulm Catholic Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 10-11 am on Saturday, June 21, 2025, at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home-North Chapel in New Ulm.

The Minnesota Valley Funeral Homes of New Ulm are assisting the family with arrangements at this time.

Dorothy is survived by her son, Brian Lang (Tracie Nord); her grandchildren, Justin Lang, Matthew Nord, Zach (Kari) Schiller; great granddaughter, Ava Emberilee; great grandson Cooper;  her brother, John Hogen; and her sister-in-law, Susan Hogen.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Robert Setser and Archie Lang; son, Michael "Scott" Lang; brother, James "Jim" Hogen; and sister-in-law, Joyce Hogen.

Dorothy (Hogen) Setser was born August 7, 1938, in New Ulm to Carl and Loretta (Stippel) Hogen. Dorothy graduated from New Ulm High School in 1956.  She was united in marriage to Robert Setser on November 29, 1985, in New Ulm. Dorothy was a receptionist for most of her working career. She worked at Master Design in Ontario, California. Besides her work, Dorothy enjoyed playing bingo. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary. She loved every moment she got to spend watching her children and grandchildren grow up. She will be forever remembered by all who knew and loved her. Blessed be her memory.
