The family of Ellsworth "Jim" Pregler is saddened to announce his passing on Thursday, May 29th, 2025 at 99 years of age.

Ellsworth is survived by his daughters, Lorie Pregler, Sue (Pete) Guggisberg; grand-daughters, Jessica (Curt) Tauber and Jme Guggisberg; seven great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Eloise Finstad, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his beloved wife of nearly 66 years, Elaine Pregler; 5 brothers, 1 sister and a brother-in-law.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 4th, 2025, at St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery, with Pastor Scott Oelhafen officiating. Military honors will be provided by the New Ulm Area Comrades of Valor Honor Guard.

His life was a gift and his memory will forever be a treasure.
