Elmer George Neidecker, born October 25, 1929, in New Ulm, peacefully passed away on January 11, 2024, at Woodstone Senior Living Community. Elmer married Betty Sellner on May 12, 1949.

Elmer dedicated himself to family and community, serving as a caretaker at the New Ulm Catholic Cemetery. He found joy in outdoor pursuits, hunting, fishing and playing cards creating lasting memories with family and friends.

Elmer is survived by daughters Linda (Jim) Bertrand, Sharon (Marlin) Gleisner, Mavis (Gary) Aukes, Judi (Kevin) Nelson, and sons Gary (Chris), Ricky, and David (Tammy) Neidecker. His memory lives on through grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and his brother Otto Neidecker Jr.

Preceded in death by his wife Betty, son-in-law Marlin Gleisner, brothers Terry and Linus, and sisters Stella Schaeffler and Diane Mueller.

May Elmer George Neidecker rest in eternal peace, his remarkable life forever cherished in the hearts of those who knew him.

A private family service will be held.
