Jerry Lindberg, age 61, of New Ulm passed away Friday, September 22, 2023 at Hillcrest Rehabilitation Center in Mankato.

Memorial service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 11, 2023 at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in New Ulm. Pastor Timothy Smith will officiate. Following the service, the Comrades of Valor Honor Guard will provide full military honors.

Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. Wednesday, October 11, 2023 at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in New Ulm.

Jerry is survived by his fiancé, Karla Townsend; sisters, Gail (Dan) Lindberg, Stacy (Jason) Dale; brother, Joel Lindberg; nieces and nephews, Jacques, Josetta, Johnathan, Mike, Matt, Amber, Krista, Kendra, and Brandon; aunt and uncle, Charlene and Allan; cousins, Jamie and Aimee; and many extended family in Little Falls and Michigan.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Russell Lindberg.

Gerald Duane Lindberg was born August 10, 1962 to Eugene and Caron Rose (Buchholz) Lindberg in Little Falls. He graduated from New Ulm Public High School in 1981 and enlisted in the United States Army. After his service, Jerry worked at the meat processing plant in St. James and then began his career at Mike's Body Shop as a sandblaster. In his free time, Jerry loved fixing and rigging up cars, riding his motorcycles, and spending time with family. Many fond memories were made calling his sisters every Sunday to catch up on life and spending time with his beloved fiancé, Karla. Jerry will be dearly missed by those that knew him.
