Harold Otto Braulick was born July 12, 1924 in Stark Township to Anton and Amelia (Berg) Braulick. He was united in marriage to Margaret Dorothy Braun on June 10, 1946 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Sleepy Eye. The couple was blessed with four children whom together they raised on their farm where Harold worked as a dedicated crop and dairy farmer for 42 years. The couple eventually retired to New Ulm in 1989, but his farm is now onto the third generation of his family. Besides his work on the farm, Harold had a variety of activities that brought him great joy in earlier in his life. He enjoyed taking in nature on his farm, on family camping trips, deer hunting, and his annual Canadian fishing trips. Harold dearly enjoyed old time music and cherished traveling to area dances with his wife Margaret. To socialize with friends, family, and neighbors, he and his wife also participated in numerous card clubs. Later in life he became quite fond of playing bean bags with family and friends. He eventually made them each their own set. Harold was a lover of all animals, but truly loved all of his family dogs. What brought him the most enjoyment in life was spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchild. He took tremendous pride in everything he did, but he took the most pride in his family. Harold was a devout member of the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity in New Ulm where he was also a member of the Catholic Order of Foresters and the Catholic United. Blessed be his memory.
