James A. Klueckman, age 64, of New Ulm, died Wednesday, May 27, 2026 at the New Ulm Medical Center.

A memorial gathering will be held from 1-4 p.m. on Saturday, June 13, 2026 at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Mpls Airport, 7901 34th Ave S, Bloomington, MN 55425.

Minnesota Valley Funeral Homes of New Ulm are assisting his family.

Jim is survived by his significant other, Phyllis Johnson of New Ulm; daughter, Tiffany (Sam) Jackson of Richfield; sons, Andrew of New Ulm, Greg (Kandace) of Buffalo, MN, and Corey of New Ulm; five grandchildren, (Kaydence, Elizabeth, Carter, Walker and Landyn); two sisters, Chevelle (Siewert) of Minnetonka and Dana (Stewart) of Hutchinson; two nephews, Gary (Julie) Klueckman of Pine Island and Shaun Siewert of Minnetonka; two nieces, Amber Stewart of New Ulm and Katie Siewert of Minnetonka.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James & Donna; and his beloved hound dogs, Casey, Mitzy and Ladybug.

James Allen Klueckman was born on October 16, 1961 in Eau Claire, WI to James & Donna (Cramblit) Klueckman. He was the eldest of 3 children. After attending Roosevelt High School in Minneapolis, Jim met the love of his life, Phyllis and quickly became Dad to her son Andrew. Jim and Phyllis had three additional children together. Jim was a cross-country truck driver for many years. He enjoyed fishing, camping, drag racing, MN sports teams and spending time with his family. His humor will never be forgotten.
