Jane Beck, age 77, of New Ulm passed away Sunday, March 12, 2023 at Oaklawn Rehabilitation Center in Mankato after a battle with cancer.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Saturday, March 18, 2023 at the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity in New Ulm. Burial will follow in the Catholic Cemetery in New Ulm.

Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Friday, March 17, 2023 at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home – SOUTH CHAPEL in New Ulm. Visitation will continue from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Saturday at the South Chapel.

The Christian Mother's Society will pray the rosary at 4 p.m. on Friday, March 17, 2023 at the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity in New Ulm.

Jane is survived by her husband of over 43 years, James "Jim" Beck of New Ulm; son, Ryan (Valerie Hunter) Beck of Mankato; sister, Janice Domres of New Ulm; brothers, Leo (Terri) Goblirsch of Bloomington, Cletus (Rhonda) Goblirsch of Lafayette; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother-in-law, James Domres.

Jane Marie Goblirsch was born July 18, 1945 to Anton and Alice (James) Goblirsch in New Ulm. She graduated from Cathedral High School in 1963 and then began a 54 year long career at Carlson-Highland & Co. On March 7, 1980, Jane was united in marriage to James "Jim" Beck at the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity in New Ulm. Their union was blessed with one child, whom they raised in New Ulm. Aside from working and taking care of her family, Jane was a member of the Christian Mother's Society at Cathedral and a member of the St. Anne's Society. She enjoyed listening to old time music, going to Jackpot, and playing bingo. Jane will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Blessed be her memory.
