John Baier Jr. "Skip", 75, of New Ulm died Tuesday, February 28, 2023 at Abbott-Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis.

Funeral service will be 11 AM Tuesday, March 7, 2023 at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home NORTH Chapel in New Ulm with Father Gerald Meidl officiating. Burial will Follow in the New Ulm Catholic Cemetery.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the time of service at the funeral home on Tuesday.

John is survived by his cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

John Robert Baier Jr. was born May 11, 1947 in New Ulm to John and Rona (Oakhill) Baier. He was a graduate of New Ulm High School and various colleges receiving his Master's Degree. John was employed as a teacher, Brown Publishing and as an insurance agent. He was an avid reader and a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church.
