John "Jack" Rossow, age 76 of Gibbon, died peacefully on Saturday, February 14, 2026 at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis.
A memorial service will be at 12pm on Friday, February 27, 2026 at Minnesota Valley Funeral Home – Gibbon chapel. A graveside service, led by Monsignor Eugene Lozinski, will follow in St. Willibrord's Catholic Cemetery in rural Gibbon.
Visitation will be held from 9am-12pm on Friday at the funeral home, prior to the service.

Jack is survived by his children, Jason Rossow of Brewster, and Leah (Jason) Palm of Windom; step-children, Jen (John) Wick of Winthrop, Jess (Darwin) Horner of Lake Benton, David Sjogren of Superior, WI; grandchildren, Colten, Austin (Jasmine), Ethan, Hunter, Abby, Kati, Dawson, Jasmine, Jonathon, Ashley, and Jaxon; great-granddaughter, Stella; special friend, Sarah Meyer of Gibbon; half-brothers, Tom, Steve, and Jerry; in-laws, Pat (Lynn) Guggisberg, Kevin (Gail) Guggisberg, Bill (Mary) Guggisberg, Jon Guggisberg, Lynn Flygare; other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Christine; daughter-in-law, Sarah Sjogren; sister-in-law, Pauline Flygare; brothers-in-law, Ken Guggisberg and Chris Guggisberg.
John "Jack" LeRoy Rossow was born on November 18, 1949 in Ramsey County. He was raised in Brewster by his parents, LeRoy and Jessie (McNab) Rossow. Jack attended and graduated from Brewster High School. After high school, Jack farmed on the Rossow family farm until 1982. He then drove semi until retiring in 2013. On July 31, 1993, Jack was united in marriage to Christine Guggisberg in Brewster, MN. They enjoyed nearly 25 years together. Jack is a previous member of St. Willibrord's Church and dedicated time serving on the church cemetery board. In his free time, Jack enjoyed traveling, fishing, riding motorcycle, and woodworking. More than anything, he loved any adventure or simply time spent with his family. He will be dearly missed by all who loved him. Blessed be his memory.
