Joseph "Joe"
Becker
February 26, 1929 – January 13, 2021
Joseph (Kokomo) Becker, Jr., age 92, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 13th, 2021 at Living Meadows in Madelia.
A graveside committal for family will be held later at Pleasant View Cemetery in Amboy.
Joe Becker, Jr, was born February 26, 1929 to Joseph Sr. and Barbara Becker in Clayton, Wisconsin. He attended school in Minneapolis and began working as a metal grinder for a window and door company. His life changed forever when he met the love of his life Rosemary Masters. The two of them were united in marriage on October 15, 1956 in California. Joe and Rosy then made many special memories at their home on Big Sandy Lake in McGregor, MN, which was a gathering spot for their family and friends. Joe enjoyed fishing off the dock and going on adventures in the pontoon. The couple relocated to Madelia, MN, where he worked at John Deer and various farms in the area. He could be found driving his pickup around town and having his daily coffee break(s) at the Triangle. Always a man with a smile on his face and trying to get others to do the same he will be dearly missed. Blessed be his memory.
Joe is survived by his ever-loving wife of 64 years, Rosemary Becker. Special nephew, Robert (Kathy) Masters of Lonsdale. "Grandsons," Michael (Renae) Masters of Savage and Nicholas (Zach) Masters of Maple Grove. Sister, Shelly (Rich) Fedick of Coon Rapids. Brother-in-law, Mike (Pam) Masters of Madelia. Cousins, Jeanie Greshner of Turtle Lake, WI. Aunt, Adoline Zapa of Minneapolis. As well as two special "great-grandchildren" and many extended family members.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Barbara Becker, his brother, Edward Becker, cousin Frank Greshner and a few special dogs.
In lieu of memorials please smile in his memory, tell a joke, and hug a loved one.
