Kaitlyn Marie Forstner, age 25, of New Ulm, died peacefully with her family by her side on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, at M Health Fairview University of Minnesota Medical Center after a hard-fought battle with cancer.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m. on Thursday, October 8, 2026, at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home-South Chapel in New Ulm.

A celebration of life reception will follow the funeral service at the Flying Dutchmen Motorcycle Club in rural New Ulm.

Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. on Wednesday, October 7th, and will continue from 10-11 a.m. on Thursday, October 8th, all at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home-South Chapel in New Ulm.

Kaitlyn is survived by her parents, Henry, and Christine Larson of New Ulm; her sister, Kaydence Larson; her brother, Chace Larson, both of New Ulm; her maternal grandparents, Gary and Denise Forstner of Madelia; her paternal grandmother, Judy Larson of New Ulm; and her special friend, Justin Miller from Alabama. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Ken Larson.

Kaitlyn Marie Forstner was born October 5, 2000, to Henry and Christine (Forstner) Larson.
