Kenneth Harold Wetzel was born September 22, 1949 in Watertown, South Dakota. He went to high school and, shortly after, enlisted in the United States Army. Ken served in the infantry for four years and then began working as an electrician. On September 14, 1991, Ken was united in marriage to Nancy Lingl at Clear Lake in Gibbon. After marriage, Ken began working at the Local 343 as a union electrician until he retired in 2012 after nearly 45 years of work as an electrician. When he was not working, Ken enjoyed woodworking, fishing, and watching sports, especially the Vikings and Twins. Most of all, Ken loved teaching his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren about woodworking, fishing, and anything else he could. Although his time here was too short, many treasured memories will live on. Blessed be his memory.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
