Leanne Howard, age 68, of New Ulm passed away Saturday, July 29, 2023 at her home with her family by her side.

Memorial service will be 11:00 am Thursday, August 3, 2023 at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in New Ulm. Pastor Jeffrey Bovee will officiate.

Visitation will be from 9-11 a.m. Thursday, August 3, 2023 at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in New Ulm.

Leanne is survived by her husband of over 41 years, Keith "KC" Howard; son, Gregory Howard; daughter, Rachel Howard; sister, Karen (Ken) Kraemer; brothers, David (Sandy) Kaiser, Daniel (Mona) Kaiser, and Richard (Ruth) Kaiser and many nieces, nephews, and extended family.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her nephew, David Kaiser.

Leanne Marie Kaiser was born April 28, 1955 to Harold and Thelma (Skenandore) Kaiser in New Ulm. She graduated high school from Martin Lutheran Prep in 1973. After high school, Leanne attended the University of Minnesota – Morris and then went on to St. Paul Technical College. During her time at St. Paul, Leanne met Keith Howard. On October 24, 1981, the couple was united in marriage in Sauk Rapids and their union was later blessed with two children. In addition to being a mother, she also worked in payroll and human resources at Coca-Cola, St. Cloud State University, and Abbott Northwestern Hospital. Leanne then worked at Express Scripts in marketing and sales presentations, until she retired. In her free time, Leanne enjoyed crafting, baking, and playing bingo. Many fond memories were made going on family trips, where she would intentionally or unintentionally get lost and go on an "adventure." Her deep love for her family, dogs, and life will never be forgotten, nor will her infectious laugh. Leanne will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Blessed be her memory.
