Lori Anderson, age 64, of New Ulm passed away on Monday, June 8, 2026 at her home in New Ulm.

Celebration of life will be held from 12-4 p.m. Saturday, June 13, 2026 at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Homes – South Chapel in New Ulm.

Lori is survived by her husband of over 18 years, Jeffrey Anderson; mother, Judy Auger; sister, Kris (Glenn) Pierson-Price of St. Paul; brother, Bob (Chris) Auger of West St. Paul; beloved pets, Symba, Elsa, and Willie; and many extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Harold Pierson; and sister, Linda Tschetter.

Lori Lee Pierson was born March 1, 1962 to Harold and Judith (Skramstad) Pierson in Stillwater. She graduated high school from Mahtomedi in 1981. Shortly after, she moved to Tennessee, then Washington, and returned back to Minnesota where she stayed. Lori worked for Merrill Lynch, then began working at AMPI in the corporate office. During her time there, she met Jeff Anderson. The couple began dating and were united in marriage on February 22, 2008 in Las Vegas. They resided in New Ulm and loved to travel, visit with friends, spend time sitting together in their backyard. Lori finished her career with Stiefl-Nicolaus in New Ulm, where her health forced her to retire. Although her passing came too soon, her memory will continue to live on in all who knew her.
