Luis Hector Perez, age 28 of New Ulm, formerly of Ulysses, Kansas died unexpectedly in a car accident in rural New Ulm on Saturday, December 16, 2023.

Luis is survived by his mother, Blanca Lopez of Garden City, Kansas; his father, Guadalupe Perez of Mexico; his son, Nicolas Cebastian Perez of New Ulm; his significant other, Marissa Martinez of New Ulm; his sister, Irene Perez of Dallas, Texas; his brothers, Jose Guadalupe Perez of Wichita, Kansas, Victor Isaac Perez of Hays, Kansas; and many other family members and friends.

Luis Hector Perez was born April 8, 1995, in Johnson County, Kansas to Guadalupe and Blanca Irene (Lopez) Perez.  He was a 2013 graduate from Ulysses High School in Ulysses, Kansas and he furthered his education working in the electrician field.  Luis worked as an electrician at numerous locations around the state, but was most recently working at Tony Downs Foods in Madelia.  When he wasn't working, Luis enjoyed grilling, singing, and playing with his son, Nicolas.  Although his passing is sudden and unexpected to all, countless memories of good times shared with Luis will forever stay in the hearts and minds of all who knew him best.  Blessed be his memory.
