Nicole is survived by her husband, Matthew; her children, Zachary, Luke, and Leah; parents, Duane & Carol Flygare; sisters, Shari (Scott) Robinson, Marcie Flygare, and Tracy (Mitch) Wilson; brother, Matthew Flygare; father and mother in-law, Ken & Brenda Dummer; sister-in-law, Rachel (Douglas) Hoffmann; nieces, Emma and Ellie Hoffmann; nephew, Samuel Wilson; and other relatives and many friends.

Nicole "Nicki" Robin Flygare was born January 2, 1987, in New Ulm to Duane and Carol (Rosin) Flygare.  She was a 2005 graduate from Minnesota Valley Lutheran High School and attained her degree in sociology from Bethany Lutheran College.   As a little girl, Nicki was always a hard worker.  From her beautiful gardens she grew for 4-H, to helping with farm chores, she always gave her all.  Nicki was also a very competitive and determined individual.  By age 4 ½, she was already riding her bike with no training wheels; falling time and time again, she refused to give up until she mastered it.  Her favorite sport in life was always volleyball.  She worked very hard at the sport, and was asked to play at several colleges.  To this day, she still enjoyed playing rec league volleyball games at the Kegel Club.   Nicki always dreamed of marrying a farmer and having a family.  On April 9, 2011, this dream came true as she was united in marriage with Matthew Dummer at St. John's Lutheran Church in Fairfax.  This union blessed her life with not only her farmer, but her greatest gift from God, their three beautiful children.  She thanked God for all of her blessings daily.  Nicki truly enjoyed every moment of getting to raise their family, helping with field work, doing the bookkeeping, helping with hog chores, and keeping the farm place nice by planting countless trees, and working her garden with the kids.  Making maple syrup and spending time on the lake fishing were always fun family activities she loved to share with Matt and the kids as well.  Nicki was proud of her family, her farm, and her faith.  Her faith in the Lord was always strong and she loved to share the love of Jesus Christ with everyone.  Church was always a priority to her, and she was dedicated to have the Lord in her family's life as well.  Nicki never held back from sharing her religious values with others.  From prayers at bedtime and before meals, Nicki made sure her children knew to thank God for all the gifts they have been given daily.  Besides being a devout member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church, Nicki was also active in bible study classes, and was a dedicated member of the MOP's Group. Although her passing is so sudden and unexpected, these memories and countless others will forever stay in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.  Her vivacious spirt, her joyful laugh, her strong will, and her beauty will never be forgotten.  Our lives will forever be changed because she is gone, but our lives were all made better because she lived.  Blessed be her memory.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a gift to the education fund for the Dummer children at St. Paul's Lutheran School in New Ulm (Nicki's priority for her children to grow in faith).
