Norbert Leo Wenisch was born January 25, 1939 to Theodore and Loretta (Turbes) Wenisch in Springfield. He graduated from Springfield Public High School. On April 22, 1961, Norb was united in marriage to Patricia Haala in Comfrey. Their union was blessed with eight children. In addition to being a husband and father, Norb worked in the parts department for implement dealers for 40 years. He also owned and operated Norb's Farm & Lawn Supply in New Ulm for 15 years. In his free time, Norb enjoyed going fishing at Lake Hanska, bowling in the Klossner league, hunting, gardening, and canning sauerkraut. He was a proud member of the New Ulm Auxiliary Police Department in the late 60's, the Searles Baseball Association, and St. John the Baptist Church in Searles as an usher and council member. Many fond memories were made going up North to the lake and watching all the kids, grandkids, and great-grandkids activities over the years. Norb will be dearly missed. Blessed be his memory.
