Patrick H. "Pat" Kneefe was born May 2, 1936 in Minneapolis to Robert and Verena (Arrell) Kneefe. He was graduate of St. Peter High School. On November 15, 1974, Pat was united in marriage to Katie (Wohnoutka) Dunning in Brooklyn Center. The couple was blessed with two daughters whom together they raised in Minneapolis and New Ulm. Pat worked nearly his entire career in the banking industry. His career started with F&M Bank in Minneapolis and Northwestern National Bank in Minneapolis before he began his thirty year career with Alliance Bank in New Ulm. He retired in 2001. In his retirement, Pat also worked for Jensen Motors in New Ulm for several years; a job he dearly enjoyed. Although Pat spent a majority of his time indoors at work, he truly loved the outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, golfing, mushroom hunting, or simply going for walks in the woods. What gave him the most enjoyment in life was spending time with his family and friends. He was the greatest husband, father, grandfather, and friend a person could ask for. Although he is gone from this world, his memory will stay in the hearts and minds of all who knew him best. Pat was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of New Ulm. In lieu of flowers the family prefers memorials to St. Mary's Church or the American Cancer Society.
