February 28, 1932 – August 11, 2024
Raymond Kuehn, age 92, of New Ulm passed away Sunday, August 11, 2024 at Oak Terrace in North Mankato.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Friday, August 16, 2024 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in New Ulm. Burial will follow in the New Ulm Catholic Cemetery in New Ulm.
Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Thursday, August 15, 2024 at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home – North Chapel in New Ulm. Visitation will continue from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Friday at the North Chapel.

Ray is survived by his daughters, LuAnn (Steve) Hanson of Park Rapids, Julie Sweere of New Ulm, Mary (Tim) Schreiner of New Ulm; sons, Mike Kuehn of Esparto, California, Bill (Joyce) Kuehn of Motley, Dave (Marie) Kuehn of New Ulm, Greg (Cindy) Kuehn of New Ulm, Paul (Denise) Kuehn of New Ulm; 14 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren, and many nephews, nieces and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Doris, in 2022; a stillborn baby; daughter-in-law, Kristin Kuehn; son-in-law, Keith Sweere; sister, Florence (Glenn) Kuck; and brother, Ralph (Carol) Kuehn.
Raymond Edwin Kuehn was born February 28, 1932 to Mike and Agnes (Janni) Kuehn in Milford Township. He graduated high school and continued to farm. On October 8, 1952, Ray was united in marriage to Doris Mae Lauretta Groebner at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in New Ulm. They were blessed with eight children, all of whom were raised on the family farm. In addition to being a father, husband, and farmer, Ray enjoyed spending time playing cards, going on golf cart tours on the trails in the woods, and helping anyone he could. He especially loved family picnics and any time he was able to get together with family and friends. Ray's kind soul will always be remembered and cherished by those that knew him. Blessed be his memory.
