Renee S. Knopps, age 70, of New Ulm, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 23, 2024 at Valley View Manor in Lamberton, with her brother Rance waiting at the gate to meet her.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 1, 2024, at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in New Ulm, with Pastor Kathleen Ulland-Klinkner officiating. Burial will follow in the New Ulm City Cemetery.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at church on Friday.

Renee is survived by her sister, Rosalee Daugherty of New Ulm; and numerous loving relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her brother, Rance in infancy.

Renee Susan Gluth was born on June 18, 1953 in New Ulm to Donald & Delaine (Ebent) Gluth. She graduated from New Ulm High School in 1971. Renee worked as a registered nurse and EMT, both in the Twin Cities area and in Zumbrota. She loved being in the outdoors. Renee also enjoyed her time as a Girl Scout leader, and playing in various municipal bands. Blessed be her memory.
