Richard Boesch, 84 of New Ulm passed away Friday, January 27, 2023.

A private memorial service will be held.

Richard is survived by his son. Karl (Amy) Boesch of New Ulm; grandchildren, Max, Hank and Miles; and his son-in-law, Mark Stumpf; brothers, Tom and Mark; and his sisters, Sharon, Audrey, Carmen and Dawn.

He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter Margaret Stumpf; daughter Rachel Boesch in infancy; and his brother, Gary.

Richard Allen Boesch was born January 8, 1939 in New Ulm to Reuben and Henrietta (Sprenger) Boesch. He was a graduate of Cathedral High School. Richard was employed as a machinist at Kraft Foods for over 35 years. He enjoyed woodworking and working on anything mechanical.

He was a member of Isaac Walton League and the Basso Presto Sports Car Club; he was active in scouting and was a scout leader for the Boy Scouts of America.
