Robert Steven Larson of New Ulm, MN passed away on Saturday, June 27, 2020 at Oak Hills Living Center Hospice after a long, courageous battle with cancer.

Robert is survived by his mother, Shirley Larson of New Ulm, brother, Duane Larson Jr. of Powell, TN, sisters, Deb (Tim) Woods of New Ulm, Sandra Safford of New Ulm, and Linda (Doug) Schrader of New Ulm, nieces, Nicole (Luey) Grathwohl of New Ulm, Abby (Cameron) Keller of Grand Forks, ND, nephews, Nick Safford of New Ulm and Joseph Schrader of Lincoln, NE, 3 grand nieces and 3 grand nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Duane Larson of New Ulm, nephew Justin Nelson of New Ulm, and niece Leslie Smith of Denver, NC.

Robert was born on June 9, 1952 to Duane & Shirley Larson in Waukegan, IL. He attended school in Hayward, CA, San Jose, CA and finished his senior year of high school in New Uml, graduating in 1970.

He loved sports and enjoyed playing basketball and baseball. His hobbies included fishing, playing guitar, riding and drag racing his Harley Davidson.

He celebrated his last birthday with a surprise drive-by parade by motorcycles from The Flying Dutchman Club, the Narren of New Ulm and many other festivities with the generous, loving hospice team, including all of the staff at Oak Hills.

A simple man with a simple life and a very big heart. Bless his loving soul until we meet again.
