On a beautiful autumn morning, October 23, 2023, Ronald Glenn "Tots" Totman passed away from this world at the age of 73 in the home he and Suzanne shared in New Ulm since 1991. With his health deteriorating Ron chose the assistance of Hospice in his final months for which his family is forever grateful.

Ron was raised on a farm near Gibbon, MN by his parents Glenn and Dona Totman, along with his sister Glenda. Ron served his country and was stationed in Germany. He later married Pat Runck and together co-parented their son Ryan. A blended family was formed when Ron married Suzanne "Susie" Gorr.

Left to remember Ron are his son, Ryan (Rebecca) and their daughter, Hazel; wife, Suzanne and her children, Tony (Tina) Ahlbrecht, Malissa (Aaron Beck) Ahlbrecht; four grandchildren, Brock Peterson, Owen, Claire and Ian Ahlbrecht.

Preceding Ron in death are his parents, Glenn and Dona; sister, Glenda Schlueter; and step-daughter, Naomi Peterson.

Ron enjoyed music, sports, and automobiles. He loved dearly his family and friends. Ron's trait of sprinkling into his comments a wry sense of humor brought a chuckle to many. Ron was a man of strong opinions which he shared freely. One always knew where one stood in Ron's eyes. May thoughts of Ron bring a smile to the face of all who knew him.

At a later date Ron's family will lay him to rest in the New Ulm City Cemetery – Soldiers Rest Section.
