Sandra "Sandy" Schleif, age 66, of New Ulm passed away Saturday, September 9, 2023 at the Mayo Clinic Health Systems in Mankato.

Sandy is survived by her sister, Becky Schleif of New Ulm; brothers, Randy Vee of St. Cloud, Michael Vee of Madelia; half brother, Kurt Erickson of Ely; and many extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Werner Schleif and Janice Schroeder Vee; step father, Arvid Vee; and significant other, Michael Johnstone.

Sandra Jo Schleif was born January 23, 1957 to Wener and Janice (Schroeder) Schleif in New Ulm. She grew up in Hanska and graduated from New Ulm Public High School in 1975. After high school, she furthered her education and earned her bachelor's degree at Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter. After graduating, Sandy worked many various jobs throughout her life. She spent time as a bartender, public investigator, and many other positions. Sandy especially enjoyed her time working at an antique store in Nicollet, where she found her passion for antiquing. Sandy loved her family and will be dearly missed by those that knew her. Blessed be her memory.
