Sandra Sue Miklas was born on October 14, 1958 to Warren and Carolyn (Rickeman) Miklas in New Ulm. She graduated from New Ulm Public High School in 1977 and was united in marriage to the love of her life, Randy Cordes, on August 25, 1979 at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in New Ulm. Their union was blessed with two children. In addition to raising her family, Sandy worked her entire career at 3M in New Ulm until she retired in 2016.
Sandy enjoyed getting together with family and friends, sewing and making beautiful quilts, garage sales and thrift shopping. She loved being outside, going to the lake, enjoyed camp fires with her husband, watching her son fish, hanging out on the dock, spending quality time with her daughter and son in law and camping with her two granddaughters whom she adored. She was a dear friend to many, an amazing person with a huge heart, and she had the ability to see the good in everyone. She will be greatly missed and remembered by many.
