Teresa is survived by her daughter, Misty Cogdill (boyfriend Michael); mother, Betty Ehret; sister, Cheri Ehret; brother, Scott (Sheryl) Ehret; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Harold Ehret; brother, Roger Ehret in infancy; sister, Elizabeth Ehret in infancy; and her beloved dog, Alvin.
Teresa Elizabeth Ehret was born on August 2, 1961 in National City, CA to Harold & Betty (Stauffer) Ehret. She graduated from Santiago High school in Garden Grove, CA.
Teresa was a loving mother, daughter, sister, and friend. She was a Godly, heartfelt, heart centered, and selfless woman. She loved so many with all of her heart. Her dog Alvin, meant the world to her and brought her so much happiness. Her daughter, Misty, was her pride and joy. Being a mother, she felt, was the most important job she had. She was a momma bear not only to Misty but all of Misty's friends and people she cared about.
She loved to volunteer at church and go to her Bible study groups faithfully every week. Teresa was a recipient of a kidney transplant and is a huge advocate for organ donation. Her never-ending bear hugs and contagious smile made everyone feel loved. Her smile lit up the whole room. She loved to play games and enjoyed her sweet tooth. She was a very supportive sister and daughter. We know she is basking in the glory of God in heaven.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the National kidney Foundation or Grace community church.
