GIBBON
Thomas (Tom) Allan Kramer, age 86, passed away on December 23, 2023, at 4:30 a.m. at Southview Living Center in Gibbon, MN.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, December 29, 2023 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Gibbon with Pastor Steven Bauer officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 9 – 11 a.m. at the church in Gibbon prior to the funeral service.

Tom is survived by his children, Alicia (Bill) Barke, Garth (Katie) Kramer, Marni (Mike) Daugaard; grandchildren, Jack and Nick Barke, Kendra and Jacob Kramer, and Chloe and David Daugaard; brothers, Robin (Carol) Kramer, Darcy (Jeanne) Kramer, Glen (Mindy) Kramer, sister Cassie (Dennis) Eikenberry, and brother-in-law, Lyle Munsterman.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Marcella (Marcy) Kramer; his parents, Harold and Zylpha Kramer; brother Don Kramer; sisters-in-law, Joyce Kramer, Sandy Kramer, Marie Bremer and Zelda Munsterman; brother-in-law, Carl Bremer; and niece, Debbie Bremer and nephew, David Munsterman.
Thomas Allan Kramer was born December 2, 1937 to Harold and Zylpha Kramer of rural Gibbon. He was baptized and confirmed at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Gibbon. He graduated high school from Martin Luther Academy in New Ulm, and began farming shortly after in rural Gibbon. He served in the Army Reserve and advanced to the rank of Sergeant. On November 12, 1961, he was united in marriage to Marcella Schultze at St.Paul's Lutheran Church in Wilbert, MN. The couple was blessed with three children whom together they raised on the family farm in Moltke Township. Tom was born and raised a farmer and lived out his farming career as long as he was able.
He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and served on the church council. He also led Lutheran Pioneers and coached basketball at Immanuel Lutheran School where his children attended. He enjoyed playing 500 with his card club, music, golfing, and watching the Vikings lose. He will be remembered as a sweet and fun dad and grandfather. Blessed be his memory.
