Travis Leskey, age 51 of New Ulm, died Tuesday August 4, 2026.

A funeral service will be at 1pm on Friday, August 14, 2026 at Minnesota Valley Funeral Home – SOUTH chapel. Ennichement will follow in the New Ulm Catholic Cemetery Columbarium.

Visitation will be held from 10am-1pm on Friday at the funeral home, prior to the service.

Travis is survived by his son, Jaden Leskey of New Ulm; mother, Delores Leskey of New Ulm; sisters, Tammy (Mark Gjerstad) Thompson and Terry Thorson, both of New Ulm; brothers, Thomas Leskey of Madison Lake and Tim (Tanya) Leskey of New Ulm; significant other, Shannon LeGare of Belle Plaine; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Henry Leskey.

Travis Jason Leskey was born September 6, 1974 in New Ulm to Henry and Delores (Funk) Leskey. He grew up in New Ulm and graduated from New Ulm High School in 1993. Travis was a part owner of F&L Construction before later working for the New Ulm City Street Department. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially hunting and golfing. He also liked playing wallyball and softball with friends, working on projects, and spending time with his family. Travis especially loved hockey and music. Music and sharing it was something that brought him closer and connected him with his son and his siblings. Travis will be remembered for his quick wit, fearless personality, and big heart. He will be missed by all who loved him. Blessed be his memory.
