Virgil Gilbert Kiecker, age 73, of Gaylord, passed away Tuesday, July 30, 2024, at Bayside Manor in Gaylord.

Memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Monday, August 5, 2024, at Zion Evangelical Church in Winthrop.

Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. Monday, August 5, 2024, at Zion Evangelical Church in Winthrop.

Virgil is survived by his sons Nick Reinhart (formally Scott Kiecker), Jeffrey Kiecker, and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Virgil is preceded in death by his parents Gilbert and Orpha (Bleick) Kiecker, brother Verdel Kiecker, and a brother in infancy.

Virgil Kiecker was born December 5, 1950, to Gilbert and Orpha (Bleick) Kiecker in New Ulm. He graduated from Gaylord High School in 1968. Virgil worked for M.G. Waldbaum Company in Gaylord since he graduated high school. Virgil enjoyed playing cards, going to auctions, and watching westerns. Virgil's greatest memories would be spending time with his children. He will be deeply missed by those who knew him. Blessed be his memory.
