William J. Berge, age 68, of New Ulm passed away on Saturday, June 10 2023 with his family by his side.

A memorial open house will take place from 1-5 pm on Saturday, July 29, 2023 at Callingwood Lake Park (17251 70th St. SW, Cokato, MN), Trailhead Shelter.

William is survived by his daughters, Melissa (Trevor) Noga, Trista (Cory) Quast; 2 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; brothers, Tim (Holly) Berge, Jim (Dawn) Berge, Jeff (Denise) Berge, Tom (Judy Imdieke) Berge; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, David Berge; sister, Nadine Fluseman and grandson, Edwin Quast.

William Joseph Berge was born October 9, 1954 to Irvin and Norma (Helder) Berge in Windom, MN. He graduated from New London Spicer High School. He was united in marriage to Renae Foricer on April 30, 1979 in Willmar, MN and the couple later divorced in 1986. He was a member of the All Saints Lutheran Church in Nya, MN. He enjoyed woodcarving, fishing, camping and spending time with his family. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Blessed be his memory.
