LAMBERTON
David K. Thompson, 59, of Lamberton died Friday, October 18, 2013 at his home. Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, October 26, 2013 at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home, North Chapel, in New Ulm with Pastor Ric Jacobsen officiating. Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
David is survived by his wife, Kathy Thompson of Lamberton; mother, Lillian Thompson of Hendricks; daughters, Chelsea Thompson of Windom, Shanna Keck of Lamberton; sons and daughter-in-law, Jon and Ashley Keck, Shane Keck all of Lamberton; four grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Brad and Beth Thompson of Shelton, Washington. He was preceded in death by his father, Dr. Carl Thompson; son, Dustin Thompson; and mother-in-law, Dolores Schwarzrock.
David Karl Thompson was born on March 24, 1954 in Rochester. On December 30, 2000 he was united in marriage to Kathy Keck in Wabasso. He was a Cottonwood County Enviromental Officer and had worked at Runnings. David loved to kayak, camp, go out to eat, visit the Science Museum, zoos, and Renassaiance Festival, landscape, and have fun with family and friends. www.mvfh.org.
