Obituary

Fredrick Gieseke, 26, of Nicollet died Thursday, October 24, 2013 from injuries he sustained in an automobile accident near Nicollet.

Funeral service will be 11 AM Monday, October 28, at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in New Ulm with Pastor David Bendix officiating.

Visitation will be 2 – 6 PM Sunday and 7:30 – 8:30 AM Monday at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home NORTH CHAPEL in New Ulm and will continue for one hour prior to the time of service at church on Monday.

Fredrick is survived by his wife, Danielle Gieseke of Nicollet; parents, Fredrick John "Jack" and Sarah Gieseke of Nicollet; brothers, Isaac and Samuel Gieseke both of Nicollet; maternal grandmother, Fern Kern of Fox Lake, Wisconsin; a great aunt, Adelyn "Tootie" Gieseke of Nicollet; parents-in-law, Don and Denise Lienig of New Ulm.

He was preceded in death by 6 tiny angels; paternal grandparents, Lowell Gieseke and Ella Mae Gieseke; maternal grandfather, Robert Kern.

Fredrick Theodore Gieseke was born March 20, 1987 in Mankato to Fredrick and Sarah(Kern)Gieseke. He was a 2005 graduate of New Ulm High School and also South Central College with a degree in HVAC. Fredrick was united in marriage to Danielle Lienig on August 22, 2009 at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in New Ulm. He was employed at Davis Comfort Systems in Mankato for the past six years. Fredrick enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling, beanbags, gardening, farming, NASCAR and the Green Bay Packers.

He was a member of the Nicollet Legion Post Sons of American Legion.
