On March 13, 2015 Ivy Faith Friese was welcomed into the world by her mother and father, Steve and Anna Friese, and three adoring siblings, Evelyn, Naomi, and Isaiah. On Tuesday, November 17th, surrounded by family and friends, Ivy passed away after only 8 months of life on earth into the loving arms of Jesus.

Ivy was cherished by all those around her. She delighted with her bright eyes, willing smile, and chubby thighs. Ivy loved animals, especially her cat, Izzy, fiddling with her pacifier, playing the piano with her older sisters and bopping in excitement when someone talked to her. She could not contain her enthusiasm for bath time and would kick like crazy in the water.

Ivy profoundly impacted all those she encountered, even while unconscious in her final days here on earth. For God's glory, that impact will live on in the lives of many, both physically and spiritually, in ways we only begin to grasp.

A gathering and celebration of life will be held at the New Ulm Event Center in New Ulm on Sunday, November 22nd. The gathering will begin at 2 pm with the service immediately following at 4 pm. A private family committal service will happen at the New Ulm Cemetery at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials or an act of kindness done for someone else is preferred.
